For this pattern I use a 3.5mm hook and King Cole Pricewise double knitting in Red, White and Black.

Materials Required

• Red yarn

• White Yarn

• Black Yarn

• Stuffing

 

Starting with red yarn

 

R1 - 6 sc in magic ring (6)

R2 - inc to end (12)

R3 - sc, inc till end (18)

R4 - 2 sc, inc till end (24)

R5 - 3 sc, inc till end (30)

R6-7 - sc in each stitch to end (30)

 

Change to black yarn

 

R8-9 - sc in each st to end (30)

 

Change to white yarn

 

R10-11 - sc in each stitch to end (30)

R12 - 3 sc, dec till end (24)

R13 - 2 sc, dec till end (18)

R14 - sc, dec till end (12)

 

Stuff and then dec till end and then fasten off.

 

For the button (start with white);

6 sc in magic ring,

Change to black,

Inc to end.

 

Sew to the button (over the top of the colour changes on the pokeball) using black yarn or thread.
